The purpose of this blog is to document my learning of Python coding. It's mostly a loose collection of no importance. Initially I registered on edX for the course titled Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python. The book for the course seems to be comprehensive and useful. I bought the kindle version of the text on Amazon which allows for the generation of flashcards and other useful academic tools.
I'm also messing around on Code Academy and Code Fights.
The computer I'm using is a MacBook Pro, 15-inch with a 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7. My operating system is macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6. I am using the spyder 3.1.4 IDE via the Anaconda Navigator. So we'll see how this goes.
